I work for The Guardian, the world’s leading liberal newspaper. I’m part of the team that looks after our community of readers, working to improve discussions and highlight the best content created by our users. I also write bits and pieces for the site from time to time. I have a particular interest in technology and Scottish news.

I previously worked for the BBC where I helped to make some of Scotland’s top radio shows. These included current affairs, entertainment, arts and cultural programmes. I also wrote feature articles for the BBC News web site.

I live with my wife and our son and commute between Glasgow and London. My interests include mixed martial arts, Brazilian jiu jitsu, judo, fitness and computers. I’m currently working on a series of podcasts about London history.
